Oreo, mainly a lone wolf, sneaks a cuddle next to Miss T in the recovery room.
Gum Drop immediately took to Bertie and he took care of her. Inseparable buds.
In the early days we used straw for insulation in cat houses.
Our first round of ringworm outbreak! Bertie and Gum Drop snuggled up together. Soon we changed from straw to fleece to help with cleanliness.
Feeding under the cover of darkness is a suggested tip!
It can help avoid unwanted attention from people during the day (some people aren’t fans of colonies).
Also, feeding cats at night matches their natural activity.
In the early days, the cat shack didn’t have electricity.
So, we geared up with headlamps to get our feline friends fed.
Once the Cat Shack got electricity, it lit up our purr-fect memories!

Scrambled was anxious, so we invited his friends to keep him company.
Soon, connections blossomed, memories and meaning intertwined, and a bit of magic started to grow.
