Our Mission

We are committed to improving the lives of stray, feral, and community cats in Monticello, KY through humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), TNR post-surgery care, housing, food, medications, health care, and vaccinations.

Why are non-profits like Cat Patch Inc. needed now more than ever?

Because of the prolonged effects of COVID-19. After an initial surge in adoptions at the start of the lockdown, pet owners experienced a crisis in finances and housing. Veterinarians being close, resulted in these animals remaining unfixed. Soon shelters started to fill back up as owners realized they were unable to care for their pets.

Many owners released their pets on the streets.

Due to the feline breeding cycle, areas become overwhelmed with strays shortly after. Today, this problem continues. In the face of mass euthanasia, animal enthusiasts have banded together in support of more humane options.
